How did you hear about Sunbelt Rentals? How did you find out about your position?

Coming from within the industry, I knew of Sunbelt Rentals, although they were not operating in my market.

There had been rumors of Sunbelt Rentals coming to Memphis for a couple of years. A counterpart from within the industry told me of several positions posted on the Sunbelt Rentals website. I went online, applied, and the rest is history.

Why Sunbelt Rentals over other companies?

The Sunbelt Rentals culture is unlike any other company in the Rental Industry. Sunbelt Rentals continues to be a large organization with a small company feel. Having the freedom and autonomy to drive our business, embrace creativity, and put our Customers first truly sets us apart from other companies.

Brief summary of your military background & career path with Sunbelt (to date and what you plan for the future)

United States Navy (1991- 2011) - Lieutenant Commander/ Naval Flight Officer Deployed in support of Operation Desert Shield/ Operation Desert Storm (1991), Operation Southern Watch (1992), and Operation Restore Hope (1992).

I began my Sunbelt Rentals career as the Profit Center Manager of PC259 in Memphis, TN. My future plans include moving into a District Manager role or possibly working in a Strategic Account or National Account capacity.

In your own words - tell us a little about your experience here at Sunbelt Rentals:

My experience with Sunbelt Rentals has been awesome. Since opening the Profit Center in March 2013, we have been provided the support and resources to grow four-fold within two short years. From Day 1, everyone from our District, Region, and the Support Office treated the Memphis team like we've worked together for years.
