Brief summary of your military background & career path with Sunbelt (to date and what you plan for the future)
Harold enlisted in the Army in August of 1971 during the Vietnam War. He went through basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. After basic training, He was transferred to Fort Eustis, Virginia where he went into Advanced Individual Training as an Aviation Mechanic. Harold then moved to Fort Hood, Texas where he was in the 2nd Armored Division and the 13th Support Brigade where he finished his career in the Army. He was honorably discharged in August of 1974 as an Army Specialist E-4.
Harold started with Shamrock Equipment Rental in August of 1998 as a Mechanic. In January of 2006, he transitioned into a Shop Foreman role. In November of 2013, he was given the title of Service Manager at PC434. Harold's future plans involve his retirement.
In your own words - tell us a little about your experience here at Sunbelt Rentals:
Harold described his experience at Sunbelt in one word: "Challenging"
When asked to elaborate, he mentioned that he started from the ground up at Shamrock and after the acquisition, he was officially promoted into a Service Manager role. With a new company and a new position, he had a great deal to learn (i.e. learning new systems and managing people, to name a few). Now, he is one of the best Service Managers in his division!
