Job Description Summary

Position Objective:
 This role is pivotal in ensuring timely and accurate responses to field requests, while also supporting leadership with clear visibility into customer-specific performance. The position enables internal leadership to map and manage sales rep effectiveness by developing sales programs and rate structures. This, in turn, provides field leadership with insights into opportunities for enhancing customer relationships, improving rates and margins, and optimizing sales rep coverage.

To ensure our department can keep up with rapidly changing business needs and intricate problem solving, we need a dedicated resource within our department with a strong understanding of statistical methods and tools needed to interpret complex datasets to discover and align this portion of the business to the market.

Position Responsibilities:
• Creates and maintains extensive database queries and complex data extractions within MS SQL Server.
• Maintains a working knowledge of relevant information systems and the interdependencies of each.
• Understands business requirements and Field complexities to meet their needs.
• Technical data steward.
• Participates in planning, design, development, and implementation of new applications and enhancements to existing applications with respect to rate and commission programs.
• Collaborates with programmers, engineers, and leaders to improve processes and nightly routines.
• Assists with troubleshooting discrepancies and/or data errors.
• Designs and create reports to provide accurate and comprehensive reporting through data visualization.
• Creates Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) and documentation on processes and reports.
• Assists team members with ad-hoc analysis and data organization.
• Continuously seeks and compiles feedback in order to identify enhancements to data analysis and generating reports for stakeholders. 

Requirements:
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience plus 5 years of experience in data manipulation and analysis.
• Ability to transform raw data into meaningful insights that drive strategic decisions.
• Extensive proficiency with MS SQL Server, Power BI, Excel, Access, and other MS Office products.
• Intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
• Demonstrated experience of customized reporting and visualization tools.
• Process-oriented and ability to multitask and work within short timelines.
• Demonstrated ability to present data findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Salesforce Reporting a plus. 

Physical Demands:
Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job.  Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind, or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work.  All duties must be performed according to Sunbelt’s safety policies and guidelines.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with ADA/ADAAA.

Base Pay Range: $73,572.00 - 101,161.50
