Job Description Summary

The Sr. Manager, HR Strategic Support is responsible for leading the HR Strategic Support function within HR Operations. This role oversees HR project management, HRIS program support and HR people readiness (change/communications) and is critical to ensure these functions occur with high success and collaboration, lower risk and with a methodical approach. 

This role partners with many stakeholders within HR and the organization – including HRIS and functional HR leaders to deliver functional and technical projects with quality; across the IT organization as needed and; across the organization to ensure the readiness approach for new programs and initiatives are appropriate and well-received. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides direction to multiple project managers, a program specialist and a readiness manager who make up HR Strategic Support

  • Responsible for setting the vision and approach for project management and delivery within HR Operations; and ensuring appropriate collaboration and teamwork occurs to deliver projects with high quality

  • Responsible for partnering with the readiness manager to ensure appropriate change management and communications methodology are applied to HR project and program delivery; change impacts are captured and appropriately dispositioned via change communications or training tactics; Employ PROSCI or other change methodologies to readiness planning

  • Responsible for partnering with the HRIS Program Specialist to deliver program management support for the HRIS function

  • Serve as key partner to entire HRIS and HR Operations leaders as we collectively strive to serve the organization with high quality

  • Offers a continuous improvement lens to all processes within HR Operations; serves as a key people leader on the HR Operations team


Requirements:
Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree Human Resources, Business, organizational change management, communications, or a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in management of an HR Operations, Project Management or Communications/Change function

  • Minimum 5-8 years’ people leadership experience

  • Working with HRIS systems such as Workday, ServiceNow and other HR technology solutions a plus

  • Strong understanding and/or certification of change management methodologies, approaches and tools (PROSCI certification preferred)

  • PMP certification a plus

  • Continuous process improvement experience; demonstrated problem-solving ability

  • Blend of strategic and tactical thinking, creative and analytic reasoning

  • Demonstrated ability to lead project management

  • Demonstrated experience is leading functional HR communications and change programs

  • Success in developing strong working relationships across many layers of an organization and outside agencies

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills

  • Ability to communicate, coach and influence internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to maintain highly confidential employee information

  • Comfortable working with tight deadlines

Physical Demands:
Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job.  Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work.  All duties must be performed according to Sunbelt’s safety policies and guidelines.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with ADA/ADAAA.

Base Pay Range: $135,800.00 - 186,725.00
