Project Manager

Position Objective:

The prime function of the Field Project Manager, PHVAC is to provide application support to our field team members and customers, specifically around Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Generators and Chillers. This role is designed to meet the growing demand from our customers for advanced power and HVAC application solutions which require knowledge and experience from this role to complete. They are responsible for rapid response and regular interfacing with our field team members, suppliers, and customers.

Position Responsibilities:

• Support our field team to ensure customer application needs are met.

• Serve as a Subject-Matter-Expert in the areas of power generation, HVAC and BESS systems supporting our field teams.

• Manage PHVAC projects to provide application support ensuring effective and efficient operation of our products to our customers.

• Respond to and resolve power, HVAC and BESS issues and failures, including troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing faulty components.

• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve issues effectively.

• Monitor and analyze system performance using monitoring software and diagnostic tools.

• Communicate issues, corrective actions, proactive direction and project statuses to internal stakeholders.

• Regular interfacing and communicating with our operational and sales teams, OEMs, and customers.

• Demonstrate, lead, and influence a culture of Safety amongst team members and customers.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• This position may require >80% travel.

• Have a strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems, knowledge of battery technologies, and experience with installation and maintenance of energy storage systems.

• Trade school or college degree (bachelor or associates) preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the diagnosing, repair, maintenance, and operation of power generation and storage products

• Ability to use mechanic’s tools and equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment problems.

• A commitment to maintain a safe and organized work environment by following safety procedures and regulations.

• Excellent communication skills and a positive, professional demeanor

Physical Demands:

Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work. All duties must be performed according

Base Pay Range: $55,542.00 - 76,369.70
