Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Payroll Administrator. As a Payroll Administrator, you will process payroll for all group branches.



DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This position is responsible for preparing reports and recommending procedures to improve organizational performance.

  • This position is responsible for accurately maintaining Payroll files and records in a timely manner. Responsible for the processing and shipping of payroll checks.

  • Responsible for routine payroll functions and maintaining accurate payroll files and records.

  • Responsible for maintaining/updating payroll records and acts as a liaison between Profit Centers, Field and Corporate staff.

  • Has a working knowledge of Ceridian software to support personnel.

  • Performs any other duties as assigned by the Payroll Manager / HR Manager.

  • Being accountable and responsible for all aspects of quality service for internal employees.

  • Research and resolve employee questions / concerns.

  • Process manual checks for employee payments.

  • Maintain employee's files and records.

  • Enter wage garnishments / levies as appropriate.

  • Perform other duties assigned as by the manager.



QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma

  • 2 year accounting degree desirable

  • Prior Payroll or Customer Service experience, Workday experience

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word

  • 4+ years of general office work experience

  • Keen and strong attention to detail

  • Ability to Multi-task and be highly organized

  • Excellent verbal skills

  • Must be able to work overtime.

Base Pay Range: $19.60 - 26.93
