Job Description Summary

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking an Outside Sales Representative – Commercial Power.

The primary function of the Outside Sales Representative (OSR) is to generate profitable sales from the rental of the Pump & Power division’s fleet of equipment, which includes, but is limited to Large Generators, Air Compressors, Temperature Control, and Desiccant Dehumidifiers. This position will focus on commercial and industrial customers.

Position Responsibilities:

• Prospect and develop new customers
• Maintain positive customer relations.
• Visit customers on regular basis and participate in strategic entertainment of customers.
• Maintain accurate and detailed customer records.
• Coordinate with operations personnel regarding new equipment, equipment availability and rental programs.
• Perform other duties assigned as assigned by the manager.

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

• B2B direct sales AND/OR project management experience within the equipment sales or rental industry required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

• Power Generation and testing equipment background highly desirable
• Strong project management, new business development and customer retention skills a must.
• Ability to effectively give presentations and business reviews to management.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job.  Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work.  All duties must be performed according to Sunbelt’s safety policies and guidelines.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with applicable laws.

Base Pay Range: $40,000.00 - 76,248.00

Total compensation package includes base pay plus robust commission plan.
