Job Description Summary

Position Objective:

The Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst assists in analyzing and producing accurate, timely reporting for the field and upper management.  This role reports to a Finance Manager is assigned to a territory to provide insightful analysis to drive bottom line profitability.   

Position Responsibilities:

  • Is the Finance Partner to our field leadership within assigned regions of responsibility
  • Creates strong partnership with senior field leadership that is built on trust, transparency, and integrity
  • Drives profitability improvement by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions for management consumption
  • Supports the development of our store, district, region and territory level budgets and forecasts
  • Extracts large amounts of data and synthesizes for easy understanding by management
  • Provides financial training / support to field as necessary which may require travel
  • Supports review and post as needed
  • Completes special reports / projects as assigned

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline or equivalent work experience plus a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a financial role requiring financial analysis
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to work with all levels of staff and management
  • Strong analytical (quantitative as well as qualitative) skills including building models and interpreting large data sets
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Action-oriented with a strong sense of accountability to not only own your tasks, but hold others accountable to assigned takeaways
  • Dependable, motivated and self-starter, with the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Agile / willingness to shift priorities
  • Strong customer-service orientation
  • Familiarity with data query/data management tools preferred (Hyperion essbase, IBM planning analytics, SQL)

Base Pay Range: $59,514.00 - 81,832.30
