Recruiter

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Recruiter. As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for managing and implementing a legally compliant strategic staffing plan for positions that supports the business goals and objectives. Utilizes resources to ensure the recruitment of high quality talent consistent with the desired company culture
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the full life cycle of recruiting (i.e., cold calling to closing)
Responsible for conducting targeted searches and contacting passive job seekers
Coordinates with job advertisement agencies for printed job postings, job board and internet postings
Recruits, interviews and selects candidates to fill vacant positions
Directs and monitors employment requisition process
Phone screens and interviews local and field candidates (for a variety of positions)
Researches and recommends alternative solutions for various recruitment issues
Sources candidates to provide a qualified and diverse candidate pool
Identifies passive job seekers using a full range of recruitment tactics and resources
Ensures hiring manager and team preparedness during the interview process
Assists in negotiating offers by partnering with regional Human Resource Manager, the Compensation department and other groups as necessary
Identifies cost effective sourcing alternatives and researches/identifies cost savings efforts
Ensures compliance with EEO, federal and state regulations and works to support affirmative action plan goals
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field or equivalent work experience plus 1-2 years of proven recruiting experience in a corporate or third-party environment, implementing a wide range of staffing programs
Fluent in French and English.
Proven track record in a fast paced, high volume environment
Knowledge of employment law and legally acceptable hiring practices
Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity, tact and diplomacy
Experience with phone screening and interviewing, database and alternative sourcing, job postings and posting maintenance required
Solid MicroSoft Office skills required
Experience with recruiting information/applicant tracking systems preferred
Construction/heavy equipment environment experience preferred
Workday experience preferred
